I am excited to be teaching another year of third grade at Live Oak Elementary with such an amazing and caring team of teachers. Third grade is a wonderful year of growth and learning and I strive to bring out the best in each of my students.     

I was born and raised in San Francisco and my husband, children and I have lived in the San Ramon Valley for over twenty years. I am looking forward to a successful and challenging year for all of my students.

Greetings to the entire Live Oak Family!

My name is Chi-Ching Shui, I am very excited to be returning to Live Oak Elementary. I have spent time teaching in both 3rd and 5th grade. I am originally from Orange County in Southern California. I attended the University of California at San Diego and obtained my Bachelor of Arts in Economics with minors in East Asian History and Chemistry. After working the banking industry, I decided to return to school and pursue a Teaching Credential from the California State University in Fullerton.

Hello Live Oak,

It is a thrill for me to be a part of the Live Oak Elementary Staff. Starting our third year as a school and building a community together gives me the satisfaction of knowing that I am part of something special. I have dedicated myself to becoming a lifelong learner and it will be an honor for me to work with the students and staff of Live Oak Elementary to engrain that in our community as well.

Before becoming a teacher at Live Oak, I earned my teaching credential at California State University, East Bay. I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology with a minor in Education at the University of California, Santa Barbara (Go Gauchos!). In addition to teaching, I enjoy all different types of sports. Currently I am playing a lot of racquetball, but I particularly love playing basketball and golf. . My wife and I have recently purchased a new home and we have been doing a lot of work around the house including painting and landscaping. I look forward to meeting all of you soon and having a great year.

I was born in Texas and lived most of my life in Maryland. I attended the University of Tampa and received a B. S in Mathematics with a minor in Economics. Teaching was always a dream of mine.  I attended Chapman University to get my teaching certificate. I taught in the Pittsburg Unified School District for five years. I really missed the challenge of teaching in a district like San Ramon.  

I am very excited to have the opportunity to teach in this district, working with children and parents. I have three children. My oldest, Christine, graduated from New York University and is currently a high school history teacher in Brooklyn, New York. My second daughter, Rachel, recently graduated from Georgetown University and is working with the National Institute of Health in Washington, DC. My son, Matt, graduated from High School and will attend University of California in San Diego this year . Lafayette is where I call home and I love sports of all kinds, especially baseball.

I am thrilled to be part of the third grade team here at Live Oak Elementary...GO GOLDEN EAGLES! It is so exciting to have the opportunity to work with a dedicated and enthusiastic staff in such a supportive community. I know it is going to be a wonderful year for teacher, students and parents alike!

    I earned my teaching credential from CSU Hayward, and I have taught grades K-3 for the past 15 years in the Bay Area. One of the reasons I chose to teach was to share the joy I have for learning with my students, and help them become independent decision makers and confident problem solvers.

    I live in San Ramon with my husband, and two children. My son entered Dougherty Valley High School as a freshman this year...GO WILDCATS!  He enjoys anything to do with basketball, baseball and football. My daughter began sixth grade this year at Windemere Ranch Middle School...GO FALCONS!  She also enjoys playing basketball and folk dancing, and is enthralled with the world of fashion and music.  Together, we enjoy hiking, bicycling, and curling up on the couch to watch movies.

I feel so fortunate to work with the Live Oak community.  I am thrilled to be a part of a staff and community that are so involved and enthusiastic about learning.

I graduated from CSU Hayward with my teaching credential and Masters in Education. I have taught kindergarten through third grade. I was born and raised in Pleasanton and currently live in Dublin with my husband and daughter, Kylie.  I strive to ensure that all students are successful and challenged academically. In my classroom, each school day will be engaging and enriching experience filled with new learning and new friendships!

Hi, my name is Sara Renk.  I have been teaching in the San Ramon school district for 6 years.  I have taught 2nd and 5th grade.  I am excited about the transition to 3rd grade!!  

My husband, Ray and I have 2 little kids!!  Benjamin, 4 and Kennedy, 2.  They keep us active!  I love teaching for that reason!  

Every day is a new adventure and is exciting!!  It's going to be a fun and productive year!

Hello Live Oak family and friends!

I am thrilled to spend my eighth year of teaching here at Live Oak. It is such a  warm and welcoming learning environment. I am constantly amazed and delighted by our students’ acquisition, discovery and love of knowledge. I received my bachelor’s, credential, and master’s degree from Saint Mary’s College in Moraga.  When I am not teaching, I’m spending time with my husband, Adam, our adorable baby, Elijah, and our Greater Swiss Mountain Dog, Hana. I look forward to another amazing year at Live Oak this year with my new batch of super students.
